Polished dark mahogany wood with lighter and darker shades of brown showing the natural streaks of the wood due to a conservative but excellent and skilled restoration.
This desk has two drawers, well shaped legs and a very solid structure, it is very functional and comfortable.
It has a modern and classic style at the same time so that it can be perfectly inserted in any type of interior.
The furniture of Vittorio Dassi (1893-1973) made in the 1940s and 1950s, stands out for the choice of fine woods such as rosewood, cherrywood, ash and walnut and for the innovative design.
Many important designers like Gio Ponti e Cavatorta worked for Dassi.
